Casa 61 – contemporary sensory and artistic living space
For her Casa 61 project, she developed five main materials: sheet metal, wood, stone, steel, and carpet to create a unique identity for the place. Casa 61 is designed as a true art gallery and is located on the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. This creation directly engages the five senses: sight with large openings and breathtaking views, hearing with a melody celebrating sunrise and sunset, touch with a collection of untreated organic cotton home linens, taste with a unique cocktail named “Margarosita” and a special culinary work, and smell with a scent created by Grasse perfumers specifically for the villa. Each Pocket Place project involves collaborations with artists and subcontractors selected for their mindset and ability to bring a unique dimension to the projects. These collaborations enable the creation of artworks integrated directly into the buildings, like the one by artist Marion Flament from the Chapelle XIV gallery, who created an artwork directly on one of the villa’s walls. Magnificent.
